Babymoov Hygro Plus
Main features
Another great device on our list is a Babymoov Hygro Plus humidifier. It shares a lot of features with those that ranked higher, but due to leakage complaints and price, we couldn’t rate it any higher. But unto the positives – this Babymoov humidifier allows you to choose your own preferred humidity levels (very handy if you have small children – you could just set it based on recommendations), and the device will automatically shut down once the limit is reached. Two indicators also show both the percentage of humidity and the room temperature. Finally, you can also add essential oils to the device for fresher, fragrant air.
Portability and Design
Hygro Plus does not have a handle that would allow you to transport it from one place to another easily, so you should only carry it if the water tank is empty. In general, it's about the same size as the VOCOlinc humidifier and slightly smaller than Proscenic, so it should fit on a counter, bedside table, or floor without much of an issue. It also offers a 7-color mood light which even works while humidification is running and can be used as a night light in a kid's room. However, Hygro Plus' unique design has a flaw – the cap peak collects humidity, thus leading to leakage.
Ease of use
It’s not complicated to use this Babymoov humidifier. It’s very quiet and has up to 22 hours of run time, after which it would need charging. Everything can be controlled using an LED touch-screen control panel at the base. Plus/minus adjusts humidity levels to your preferred setting, and the auto button would automatically maintain the selected humidity. The device can also automatically shut down once the limit is reached. The light button turns on or off the mood light. The screen also shows the humidity percentage and temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, depending on your preference. Finally, an essential oil diffuser just underneath the cover allows you to add a few drops of your preferred scents.

We would’ve ranked Babymoov Hygro Plus way higher, given all the features and simplicity of use. However, we couldn’t ignore user complaints about the tank and cover leakage. We had to mention it so you would take it into consideration. It’s also not the cheapest device on the list, though if we didn’t count the issues, it could be overlooked due to some great features. Overall, it’s one of the best devices on the market, particularly for families with small children, but it’s not the best device on our list.
